110 Entrada Drive

(2/14/2023) The County Community Development Department, Division of Economic Development, seeks a qualified respondent to purchase and improve a certain county-owned parcel: 101 Entrada Drive (Lot 6B-2). The County will consider non-residential development proposals that contemplate a future use of the property in accordance with the following County strategic plans: County Council’s Strategic Leadership Plan priorities; Comprehensive Plan; Economic Vitality Strategic Plan; Los Alamos Resiliency, Energy and the Sustainability Task Force Interim Report; and the Los Alamos Airport Master Plan.

As had been previously scheduled, the Economic Development Administrator hosted a pre-proposal meeting and site walkthrough on March 16, 2023. One party was attended. No notable questions were asked. 

On March 27, 2023, the County received a proposal from the same party. This proposal is being reviewed by the County's Economic Development staff in preparation for  presentation before Council in late May.

As such, land solicitations are not governed by Chapter 31 (Procurement), or the related County policies governing the procurement of goods, services, or construction by the County.
